Class 1 – Space Coast Area Transit

Name: www.RideSCAT.com
Target Audience: New Riders/Existing Riders
Project Cost:$25,000
Description: RideSCAT.com features the new SCAT on-line Trip Planner. Similar to MapQuest, the trip planner gives you a map and text directions from your front door, to the closest bus stop, to your final destination and back again. The flash presentation on the home page was created to reach SCAT’s target market segments: hospitality workers, youth, college students, blue collar workers and seniors. The navigable interactive system map allows you to focus in on a specific route and be transferred to that route. The individual routes/schedules allow the user to mouse over a bus stop and view the corresponding schedule times for that stop. 32% of the visits to RideSCAT.com are to use the trip planner. Ridership has incresed 23%.
